Ring of Fire is a song meant to have more of a beat and not having the hot horns just creates a very large void, unless it’s done like this kinder, gentler version.

Or, even this surprising Blondie version…different yet true to the song.

I love Ray, but this adaptation of the Cash classic, not so much.
