I never liked rock music and deliberately avoided certain artists, Stones included. Also, I’ve been busy, and that has limited the amount of music I’ve been exposed to. I have to really care about it to listen to it, and don’t want it in the background like some kind of soundtrack. But I love it here, and I’m learning, and I have found new music thanks to here, so it's worth the feeling out of place. BTW, I appreciate that you answered my question. They were bringing a rock infused blend of road house blues to the masses. They laid some ground work for much of what we love today.
